Hi all, hope you are all well, I've been am extremely lucky girl in blog land recently, I won The Southern Girls Challenge a couple of weeks ago ($20 to spend at The Paper Shelter), on Tuesday I won a set of 12 spicas over at The Copic Oz Challenge (Rosanna's very happy lol! she looves spicas), then a beautiful fiskar punch over on Tara's blog, then last night I won Karen's gorgeous Easter Candy, (all links or pics in side bars).  Thank you Girls!  Definately cheered me up lol!   Shall celebrate by having some candy of my own soon.

Anyway, today for my inspiration over at the Mad for Markers Store Blog I would like to show you this fantastic boys image from LaLa Land 'Star Boy Luka' available here.  I have made an easel using papers from DCWV 'All about the Boys Stack', perfect for our super hero.

Used Silver, Gold and Clear Spicas on his cuffs, star, buckle and boots.

I have coloured the beige Happy Birthday Ribbon with R29, B14 & Y15 to match the papers, love this paper, reminds me of Batman and Robin when I was a kid with all the bubble speech marks lol!  So dated now!

Monochromatic Tiny Baker Tia and Happy Birthday Edward

Hi all, hope you are well, (another scheduled post as am at work), today for my inspiration over at the Mad for Markers Store Blog I would like to show you this cutie Some Odd Girls Image 'Tiny Baker Tia' day' available here from The Mad for Markers Store and to keep in with our New Monochromatic March Challenge I have coloured her in shades of brown.

I made this card for My DH whose Birthday is today (X:)), he has a sweet tooth and loves homemade baking, so with a little imagination, image a slimmer, younger me lol presenting him with a cupcake lol!  (Morgan says it is too girly for his dad but gonna take the chance lol).

All the edges have been distressed, got to get one of those gadgets, instead of using scissors lol!

I placed one of the sentiment from this set on the inside, the dotted paper is handmade in India it has such a lovely feel to it.

My First Napkin Card for My MIL using Sylvia Zet's Poppy

Hi all, hope you are all well, had the day off and spent if cleaning then crafting for fun, had a look what challenges there were in my side bar and came up with this.  Finally got to use this gorgeous image of Sylvia Zet's "Poppy".  I have used the tutorial for the Napkin Fold Card from Splitcoaststampers.  Papers used are from Kaisercraft 6 x 6 paper pad 'Tea at Elsie's Collection'.
Martha Stewart Pansies around the page punches, kindyglitzed the edge of the pansies, the butterflies are coloured with copics and spicas then glimmermisted.  Flower ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.

A closer look at the text and flowers

The inside, how cute is Poppy and the little ladybird

I have distress the edges, then coloured with B00, used Special effects on the eyes, hairband, ladybird and flowers, various spicas in her hair, wings and mushroom, then sprayed with 'dazzling diamonds glimmermist.  Cheery Lynn Designs Butterfly.

The back, I have made a Blossoms Flower pocket to hold the friendship recipe tag and to write the message on.

Love this stamp from LOTV, have also coloured the ribbon with my B02 to match.

Zoo Scrapbooking Pages using Copics to create the photo background

Hi crafting buddies, hope you are all well.

This is a scheduled post hopefully I have it right this week, when I snuck on at work to check last week, big flap on when it wasn't there, I had only set it for P.M. LOL!
Today for my inspiration over at the Mad for Markers Store Blog I would like to show you how I made my own backgrounds for the photos to match the Bo Bunny papers I have used on the following scrap pages, just looove these papers, just perfect for these photos of Rosanna and her friend Karly taken last July at Werribee Zoo.

Page 2

Sorry for the quality of the photo must have taken 12 shots had to take the photo back off and this was the best I could get, think it must be the white lol!  As you can see I coloured around the edges and created a two tone effect

I then went around the edge with the marker to take away the white edge, I usually use a marker on the photos too especially after using a corner punch.  This photo was tricky camera in one hand, marker and paper in the other lol!

I usually use a marker on the edges of the photos too especially after using a corner punch, like on this photo with round edges. Just love this photo!
