Mad for Markers, Copic Project Class, Debbie's Gorgeous Candy, Surfing and Garden

Hi all, rather than do lots of posts, I have combined everything in one, so you can chose what to read or skip lol!

FIRST I would like to wish Edward HAPPY BIRTHDAY for today, we are both wondering where the years are going lol!

On Sunday 27th Feb I attended the Copic Project Certification Class here in Melbourne and what fun did we have whilst going over some techniques we knew and learning new ones.  Here are a some of the things I we did.

How cute is this LaLa Land Crafts Panda Image, now available from Sammi's Mad for Markers Store along with 12 others in stock, if you would like another LaLa Land image that isn't listed, please just ask Sammi and she will do her best to look after you.

First we made this gorgeous card using thirteen different techniques (sorry forgot the name of the image, new to me, but if anyone wants to know I will find out)

we coloured him on tissue paper, then ironed him onto the candle, our example used grey colours

but we were encouraged to do whatever colour we liked so had a go at a purple panda lol!
The ribbon supplied was purple too!

We also coloured onto fabric using another cute LaLa Land Craft Image, as you can see it did run slightly but still pleased with the results.

Then last week I was so lucky to win this gorgeous blog candy goodies off the beautiful Debbie, now most of you will know Debbie and how amazing her colouring and creations are, but if not pop on over there and take a peak.  Can't wait to play!  Definately going to be something girly with all those gorgeous ribbons, flowers and stamps.

Also last week I was given this award, for my Inky Side/Twisted Easel card

On Saturday took Rosanna and Morgan to Anglesea and hired a couple of surf boards for them, Morgan managed to stand up three times, they did have fun, this is only the second time, must get back there soon, they are keen to have a lesson.

Just sitting on top of the waves lol!

Just a little moat building with Seaweed, Sand and Water

Finally an update on the garden
those that have seen previous garden posts will know we had a go at growing grass, which was successful this time at the back right of the garden so on 3rd Feb we seeded the other side of the garden, then on 5th Feb it rained!!

But as you can see it didn't entirely wash all the grass seed away and some has started to grow (along with many weeds).  The black blob is Charlotte, Rosanna's bunny, Poppy is away to left just missed having here pic taken.  They get to roam free, sometimes, but we do need to be kept an eye on as they are rather partial to some of my plants!

Now don't forget Mad for Markers will be at Paperific on 1-3 April - with the full range of Ciao and Sketch markers as well as THE April release of The Greeting Farm stamps including the NEW Creeper kit!

I shall be there, along with Sammi and her DH, Tracey from the DT and other blogging buddies, we sure would love you to pop by and say hi!

Don't forget our Copic colouring brown challenge over at Mad for Markers.

Finally my beautiful blogging buddy Angela has THREE AMAZING candies on her blog this is a photo of the first candy, the others are in my sidebar.

Thank you for visiting, happy crafting, take careX:)

As you can see I have been AWOL from blogging and had some family/garden time, back to work tomorrow but shall see you all soon in blog landX:)

  6. Hi Annette,
Wow! Lots to read in this post! I love your card using 13 different techniques! I bet you learned something there !! Looks like it was a very interesting class. Your lawn is coming along well. We tried to seed our lawn with very little success. The loads of water obviously helps!! Good luck to the kids with the surfing lessons. A fantastic idea! I would have loved to learn how to surf when I was younger.
